A180 - whining sound from left side at speed

So there is this whining sound when travelling fast like on highway. It is a whining sound coming from the passenger side. I notice it usually comes on in gear 6/7 and more so if I am not accelerating. It doesn't sound in sports mode - only in economy mode. I am wondering if the sound is coming from the gear. Not sure.

Is this normal? Any other A class owners getting the same sound?
