I have been using the BlackVue 500GW-HD with no problems on overheating or anything for that matter.  l have been using this for about a year already.

Do you have overheating issue with your Blackvue 650?

I have two iTronics installed on my back window. One facing the rear and the other facing forward towards the cabin. The one facing forward is to capture anything that happens to the side of the vehicle.

Haha! Can be turned off when needed. I previously only had a front camera installed. My car was scratched on the back door and my camera obviously didn't capture it, so decided to do up a 360 degree camera.

which model is the best with parking mode?  iTronics or Blackhue?

 

CnC provided me with CDV-800 from cansonic but i dont think it can record in parking mode.

Its insane... Turning on and off by iself.. Out of sudden...lol.. Thinking to change it...

I had numerous overheating issues with the BlackVue previously. Was initially using the BlackVue 400 and it overheated. Downgrading to the 380 model also gave me the same issue. Some say the BlackVue has solved the issue with the latest 500 series but personally I don't trust their products anymore. I don't want to come to a point where I need a footage to prove my innocence and the DVR did not make a clear recording. In that situation it'll be as good as not installing a DVR in the first place. Just doesn't seem reliable enough.

 

Have switched to iTronics and no issues since. Even used it to claim against a third party for hit and run once.

Bro cwq, any idea if the conmector of dvr are the same? So i can just swop and no need reinstall...

Where did you get the iTronics installed? Can reveal cost? Thks

I got the iTronics directly from the distributor and got it installed at AutoSpritze by Ah Boon. Can't remember installation price already.
