C&C maintenance

I own a W212 and is on C&C 3-year warranty. It is time for 60,000 maintenance but if I go to Chip Soon or Round, then this warranty will be void. I am left with one year. Is it worth to break this warranty by saving some money going to Chip Soon / Round?

Nobody can really advice you on that. If someone says save the money and go outside to do servicing, he or she won't be responsible if touch wood you need to make a claim and C&C for whatever reason doesn't honor the warranty. The risk is ultimately on yourself.

true true.. dun think of save money in the wrong way, will cause you waste more.. think twice before you risk it~

I do believe u do not need to do all the major parts at CnC. certain things still can be done outside while CnC honor ur warranty.

If you read yc3333 post there. He did some parts outside and CnC still honor his warranty. As long those things that is required to be done in CnC is done , like engine oil, transmission fluid ect

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

The warranty provided by C&C for 3 years sounds good. But do you know what this warranty covers? Please enlighten. I read their exclusions and anything subjected to wear and tear is excluded.

Yes anything related to wear and tear is excluded such as brake pads. For an extreme example, you go to a third party workshop to change brake pads. Touch wood, a fault happens to your brakes sometime after. You want to claim warranty from C&C. They have the right to say that the brakes have been tempered by an unauthorised workshop and not honour the warranty. When I went to do servicing at C&C two months back, they even took note and officially recorded that an aftermarket battery has been installed in my car. But hack it, my warranty ends this month.

 

Bottom line is want do anything to your car, don't be scared. If scared, do it the right way. If warranty claim is a concern, no amount of money you save is worth the trouble in the end.

It is covered but if need top up compressor gas only I think it's chargeable
