How to reinstall airbox?

Today I opened the airbox to clean my k&n air filter. Opening was pretty easy following through internet steps instructions but...

I can't seem to refit the air box cover. It is slightly misaligned with or without the air filter (so it isn't bcos of tthe wrong installation of air filter)

what did I missed?

Is your ride a CGI? It's actually a bit more difficult to close the air filter box...need to align freely by releasing both ring clips that's holding the inlet pipe & outlet pipe.

Incidentally, Sonic Racing is opened tomorrow (Nat'l Day). They are the experts....I'm sure Steve or Warren can help.

Hehe.. yea. The outlet pipe was in the way. Couldn't get enough wriggle room to refit the box cover. Once I detached the cover from the outlet pipe, the box cover fitted easily. All done last night
