Hi bros, does anyone encounter before the malfunction of the car charger where we can plug in the charger to charge our phone near the gear knob there? Sorry for not able to describe the actual name of it as i was wondering where can i get it repair for w204? Thanks

I have encountered .  Check the fuse first , likely blowed.  If yes, buy from Sparepart shop and Change yourself.  Cheap.

Maybe u double confirm is it the Car Charger Point or ur charger cable faulty.

Try with other charger cant wrk either. Hmm... DIY & change myself?? Seem like a difficult task to me... Haha

Fuse is very easy to change, but if you're not confident better to consult a workshop. Any electronics workshop can get it changed in seconds.

Check the fuse already, none of them blow.

The charger at the glove compartment also a bit crazy, if plug 1 device can charge. But if plug 2 device cant.

The one near the gear shift cant charge at all.

Any workshop that is good to rectify this issue to recommend?

I had similar issue before. I use those 2 port USB car charger. Plug 1 cable, it will works, plug 2 cable to device, it will not work. I checked and both USB port works well.

 

So i did further test...

 

1 of the cable is good condition, another cable is in quite bad shape so I wonder if its due to the cable where it shock the car charger. I replaced the bad cable with a new one and now both USB port working fine with fail.

The cig port connection does not seem good. Can I change the whole thing and where? Tried plugging in devices and only at certain angles will work
