For me this kind of things I would check with bodyworks workshop first. Those workshop that does paintjob , I think they could help to glue the strip back

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

it's a very common problem for the panaromic roof. This a plastic piece that can be easily replaced...DIY. Its held on by clips. Buy the parts from Goldenlink or others.

I have this problem 2 years back as well...its a common problem. E-Class ones comes with Body Colour actually. What i did was to send for spray painting with gloss finishing. Think its about 100+ definately cheaper than replacing new ones...was thinking it will happen again after a few years even if replace new strip...might as well spray. Its easy to take out, no tools required.
