Another saga brewing.. only it's a Merc this time

I think some of you might have already seen the video circulating on FB. Read it in the Chinese night tabloids this evening. Black CLS350, VRN: SDP963*R, tailgating a ambulance on an emergency call rushing a heart patient to SGH. The driver of the Merc was purportedly tailing the ambulance and even took the emergency lane when they did so.

 

The ambulance staff wanted to stop the vehicle to use the defibrillator but could not do so as the Merc was too close and the propensity to crash into them is high.

Staff have sent video to TP. Guess, this driver is also gonna lim kopi soon.

 

Are we guilty of tail gating an ambulance when they ópen' the way for us on the expressways?
