W211 Pre-Facelift Brake Pressure Reservoir

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I am driving a 2005 E200 Kompressor (W211) Pre-facelift.

Recently, I saw a message saying "Service Brakes! Visit Workshop" in the instrument cluster.

I brought my car to C&C Alexandra where they ran diagnostics and said the Brake Pressure Reservoir was faulty, and suggested to replace at $2500 with labour. I asked the technical advisor if it was covered by the SBC 10 year warranty and he said it wasn't. To double check, I called C&C Pandan Loop and the guy on the phone said that only the SBC pump will be covered, the Brake Pressure Reservoir isn't.

Could I know if anyone has managed to get this replaced for free (or needed to pay for labour only)?

Thanks a million.

I had the same problem went to C&C , they say brake pressure reservior was faulty refuse to replace the SBC pump. Maybe it is the same fault but they call it a different name to prevent us from claiming.... KNN..
