Recommended Posts

Car vibrating and strange clicking sound coming out from engine.

Send in to CnC yesterday and today received a call from them and was told that my super charger brokedown.  No stock so they need to order from germany.  They assemble back my supercharger and asked me to take back my car and wait for the parts to arrive...

So i will be driving my car without supercharger!!

Luckily still under warranty and i will be having a new supercharger soon...

something that i thought would happen to me but has not happen....

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

wah, got a shock of my life... cnc want to void my warranty becoz of my paddle booster!  They say this could be the cause for the damage supercharger.

Then luckily i alway use the same service advisor and he discuss with the mechanic and warranty remain but when i come back for the replacement of the SC, they dont want to see the paddle booster..  Heng Arr

Eh I think should be ok cos i asked CnC SE before they say sprint booster wont void warranty if sprint booster wont void warranty why throttle controller would?

The SE will say almost anything to make a sale, promise you heaven and earth. At the end of the day, it's still up to the mechanic and the SA to see if the warranty should be honoured. When electronics are concerned, they can say your throttle control device is faulty and caused a short-circuit of the vehicle, thus damaging it and voiding the warranty.

Ya, i agree with mark on this one, when something happened they will find explanation to the fault to prove that we are the one responsible for it.  Then they will take credit and say they close one eye and sound like they are the good man.

Hi Jon, beside yr car vibrating at that time, do u feel that the throttle is not responsive (meaning u need to really floor the pedal to get a slow increase in speed)?

I have this experience too. Went to Cnc for service b servicing the next thing when I collect the car, the problem was solve

Not really.  However I can feel that the car engine very stress especially when i try to pick up speed when over taking... the engine like dragging..

An example is like driving a manual car on 2nd gear and when you reach the max and you did not change the gear, the car is dragging and making loud rev..
