If I am not wrong the Mkb header is a local design, msia produced header. It was very popular before the kleemann header came out.

You can check the Mbworld.org forum. There should be some there but it should be a long time back....

Hi,

Just went down to Benzline to check on this for my w203. seemed like a good deal as compared with Kleeman($3800).

Anyone uses this b4? need some feedback..Cheers

No need to spend so much $1766++ will be able to get the High flow cat + Header, (made in USA) suitable for Right Hand Drive

Even with the header/cat, I think u need to tune the ECU to read the new parameters. This is what mkb tuning does.. they tune it with together with the header/cat. Correct me if i'm wrong..

So if we get this 1766+, who will tune it? I dont mind if this kit is good..

No tunning.

Theres a W204 driver in JB. and he install the Header and Cat without tunning. but still get a bit more Power increase.

Theres also W203 driver who just install the Kleemann header and cat without tunning, and they do get Power increase too.

ecu tuning allow ultimisation of our car performance.

is the stock ecu tunable?

I believe u can,

I just did it at MBM, they recommend a 10% increase in fuel flow and slightly reduce iginition timing. (I dont know why, something like I had the K-box but no header, so heat cant escape fast enough)

told to drive and if dont like it will retunning back to original for me.

The kleeman kit is a piggy back solution. So they dont send yr ECU files back to the overseas tuners( Mbk or Mtech in this case) and they tune it according to your car's current ECU readings to fit the new parameters like the headers, etc.. Then they reflash it into yr ecu. But one thing disadavantage is, when u sell your car, the ecu cannot be detached. whereas, kleeman ones can be detached. Other than this, i dont know what's the difference in piggy back and ecu reflash solution.

Bro,

I'm looking for the M271 Headers & High Flow Cat.

Any recommendations? I visited your place for the C63 Quad Exhausts.

Thank you,

Ah Tan
