alphard96 ..... For sure once u collect your car u will regret it.... U will think S300 is still a better choice.....

 

When I traded my S280 in .....for a C180.....on the day i drove the car out of the showroom i keep kbkb.....cos the car is very very disappointing compared to my S class.....

 

soon maybe when w223 u will come back to merc

alphard96.... enjoy your ride... but I strongly believe you ste already on the lookout for a better and nicer car... do give us a review on the drive... I had also liked the ride... but after a while realised the rear looks like a Camry...( my boss pointed out)...

I totally understand how Edwin felt, I kpkb too when I collected my CCC...expected it to drive like a RR. Sickening.

Daffy.....U know what....Once I took the car out went to run from CnC to woodlands..... At BKE round about I skid.....and I call my SE and say, My car got problem.... My car skid...

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

Wonder if can burn now and store there, when go there then collect and use....if can must burn more $$ and gadgets.... LOL

welll, have enjoyed the flagship merc but no regrets downgrade to lexus.......

- less worry abt breakdown

- attract less attention,

- reduce cost

 

and the most impt to me is lexus nicer to drive with smoother transmission, the base merc 300 is underpowered for enthusiastic driving (but merc NS highway cruise is excellent).

also 15 speaker mark levinson is superb.and hybrid save money on the long run too as next year, need to drive more my 3 kids go to 3 different schools..
