My engine when start will have a loud sound as if the engine has been tuned but my engine is not tuned.

This only happen when my engine rested for 4-5 hours. Even after I let it run to warm up, the sound soften but it is still louder than usual. What could be the problem? Don't want to be smoke by C&C.

 

 

Another issue is I realized my gears are jerky whenever I start my engine, is this the sign of some issues? I call C&C, they told me engine not warmed up enough, I tried it works well when the engine is warmed enough but I haven't got this issue from the start. Why happen now?

 

Please advise before my warrant ends.

Can't help you about the engine, probably need to do a full diagnostics.

Gear jerky wise, I'm also experiencing it. Know of a few other people who also have complained about it. Sent in for diagnostics, C&C says no issue. Just gotta warm it up. Have yet to hear of anyone who managed to fixed this issue yet.

I have got an old Z4 that will jerk and jerk regardless how you warm up and I am afraid this mercs will turn out this way.

From experience, it goes away less than a minute after the car moves off.
