Top Up Coolant Message

Hi guys,

 

Pardon my noobie question, got the top up coolant message last night, opened up my hood and checked the coolant tank, can't seem to locate the level indicator but looking at the colored fluid, it looks half filled.

Next servicing in Sept 2013, was thinking of topping it up with distilled water in the mean time. Any one with similar experience?

Would appreciate any kind advice please. Thank you.
