Surveillance camera

Hey guys, just passed my TP 2 weeks ago and then have been driving my parents E300 on the weekends. Parents are quite worried that I might get into an accident since I am a new driver. Don't really think a merc should have an ugly camera sticking on its windshield? Question: do you all use a surveillance camera? If yes, how much did you get the camera for and where? Thanks guys

The camera is normally hifden behind ur rear view mirror... still not as hideous the 2 neon plate on your dad's ride. .. and FYI.. its not your ride.. so u got no say in amything..... consider urself lucky if ur dad allows u to drive his car.... and be grateful. ..

One more thing... hope ur dad is not here. ... or you'll be taking mrt again. ...

Wah, you serious ah. Must take a closer look at next gathering. 3 cameras.... no joke....

Ya. I initially had one facing the front. But 2 weeks ago some idiot scratched my front passenger door and he walked from the back. So decided to add two more cameras behind for all round surveillance.

FYI petrol stations do carry some cheapo cam but they are kinda useless as in the night you cant really see.

Go for Blackvue or Itronics its around 300++ each there are many shops in singapore who carry them

The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

Two behind, one faces the back to capture the rear of the car. The other faces forward to capture the interior plus side of the car.

Ya. Bloody pissed. Had to respray the door. $170!

bro markcwq did you install an additional battery as well? since 3 cam should drained the battery faster.

Nope. No additional batteries. I got power magic to monitor voltage level in the car.

Sometimes where you park is out of your control. Plus even so, the person still can come from the rear sides. Unless the lot is physically enclosed on all three sides.
