Actually is a combination of all....

Engine output to header to high flow cat to the muffles then out it goes, diff ecu, diff engine, diff header will create a lack in engine power....

Diff = Not compatible

Another buttom......."J"

Mean JUMP....Your car on fire hahaa......

My personal view, 189bhp, be it C, S, Or M.... Not much Diff as this engine or gear box isnt make for the power.

You forgotten the "E" button........ Eject, for emergency landing :tongue1:

Have tried, both C or S the power difference is negligible.

frankly speaking the C63 exhaust is to cater for V8 engine, be it the size of the pipe, the lenght, the bend to handle the amount of flow and back pressure of a V8 engine that pushes over 400HP.

If is installed on a C180 (163HP), C200 (189HP), etc......., you will definitely lost low & high end cum torque.

I personally felt there won't be any sound effect, performance effect but only visual effect of the C63 tail pipe even if is on SLK 200, SLK 280.

Here we are comparing 4, 6 cyclinder over a V8 engine.

There is a lot of different between using a 2.75" over a 3" pipe, where do we need a 2.75" and we we need a 3" pipe also play a very inportant role.

I understand that theres too much air outflow cos the pipes are much bigger than the original c200 pipes, and furthur more theres 2 larger pipes.

But I had be emailing a holland guy who did the same c63 pipes on his c180 and he weld the pipes actually the same way,

he has no problem and is very happy with it.

Theres sound difference between my original c200 and c63 mufflers. ALOT of DIFFERENCES.

and I also discover the laser engraving on the c63 exhaust/muffler box, statng

"AMG SEBRING" so I believe that the exhaust are make by sebring???

I dont understand what u mean by

"where do we need a 2.75" and we we need a 3" pipe also play a very inportant role"

can explain?

my bad, it is susppose to be this sentence.

where do we need 2.75" pipe and where 3" pipe?

the pipe that connected from header down to cat to centre box to muffler, the entire pipe design could give you lost or gain of power.

you cannot install a A4 Avant pipe on a A4 Sedan or RS4 on a A4

I went to man exhaust and insert 2 vertical plates into the pipes to create back pressure .

After a few trial and error , welding and rewelding and rewelding, I finally got back the HP and torque I wanted.

Luckly it works

bro, isn't it spending couple of thousand of dollar to buy a pair of C63 exhaust for just the look (Tail Pipe) and not getting any performance improvement?

9339 install a set of AMG pipe and feedback was lots of improvement on low & high.

But this C63 pipes are very very big. so Air Flow too fast for the car to have a any back pressure.

as a result must always drive with Higher rev/rpm in order to feel the power, not very good for the low end.

Than you should'nt have take away the sprint booster.

Mine with faster flow actually help alot at the low and high, with the help of both the K-box and sprint booster.

I still hav the sprint booster, and doing the K-box tmr

Did u do the exhaust and k-box and sprint booster at the same time.

or did u do like me 1st exhaust. , test any HP change,

then 2nd Sprint booster

then 3rd k-box

cos if do everything together, then will not be able to know if u will benefit from the exhaust change,

cos the K-box would have help to increase the HP so cant find out how much HP is lost or gain after installing the exhaust.

yes, do it slowly. 1 by 1. u will get to see the difference or if the fc is affected.

i did mine all or almost at 1 go. regretted it.

enjoy ur ride..............

Just collect my car 1hr ago, now with c63 exhaust, sprint booster and k-box+ pullery.

I should meet up with u and 9339, just to find out if the power of the car are the same,

cos me still feel theres a lack of something in my car and something can be done to improve.

Just dont know what????

I recall the Sports button on the W204 with the advance agility package actually stiffens the suspension and changes the engine map together with a more responsive throttle. Power wise I think it is the way it is delivered that makes the advance agility package shiok.

I had my fair share of play with the package when the W204 first hit C&C, but alas too little time to test it fully. I dont think C&C has any such test drive car anymore. Sad.

HI COULD YOU ADVISE ME HOW MUCH DO YOU SPEND ???ABOUT TO CHANGE TO WHAT YOU HAVE .

I forgot the actual price of the items I paid for .

But just give u the items u need to buy and a rough ideal how much.

AMG diffuser around $450-480

Quad Exhaust around $2800. (including welding) they welding the exhuast muffler box directly to the body of the car (not a good ideal)

But my welding was not done properly and exhuast "drop" after 5km of drive

(due too the expansion metal and vibration, welding directly to the car will cause the welding area to break apart)

Therefore must buy 2 more parts (around $100-150)

2 L rod + rubber connectors.

One to be screw onto the rear of the car under carriage and connect to the Right muffler box

One to be screw onto the Mid of the Car under carriage and connect to the mid pipe of the exhuast system

Last thing to buy is a Heat Shield. (u already have one on the Left side) (around $80-110)

To be connect betweent the Right Muffler box and Rear Bumper.

U need it cos if u drive for along period of time, the heat from the muffler box will deform the Right side of the Rear bumper.
