Nothing can be done to W204 Kompressor 1.6L ??

Wah bro, you do chanting or something? Never heard of a contented human. Human = never contented. If humans are contented, GFs and wives won't come home with new shoes and bags every week, nobody would want to be president or CEO, Armstrong won't land on the moon. Lol!

aiyo bro dont like that say leh.. you talk like you representing the whole human race..

how about ask yourself some questions? are you contented with your gf? will you look for a prettier one? younger one? smarter one?

relax lah u sounded stress.. organise or join more drives :D

There's a reason why people hardly ever marry their first dates right? Lol! And guys occasionally steal glances at babes and girls at hunks!

Once you've found the right partner you marry him or her, same as once you've found a car you love and set it up the way you want, you stop modding it.

Nothing to be stressed about.

It's just life, you only live once! Enjoy!

mod or not to mod is very personal.. nothing right or wrong..

dollars vs percentage of power gain, worth or not, decide yourself..

share your dyno charts here!

Agreed!

My 1.6L Kom max on paper is 223. Hit it a few times already, car feels very stable. No vibrations or anything. On stock suspension but with piggyback installed. Never did calculate how long it took though.

Thanks Mark. Forgot to add. My legacy was fully stock.

Neo, u can go do a search. As bros mentioned, still can do a bit. Not much though.

Best way is to buy a more powerful car next time.

I have sprint booster and piggyback. Good enough for me.. for now.

I am getting the contact from Mark. Mostly likely will go for MKB piggyback

Just curious, did your ride emit any sulphuric smell when you reached high speed? If my car ever reaches 200 km/h, I think I would have suffocated first. Ha...ha...

Hi all,

I just want a confirmation from the seniors and experts in this forum that there isn't much can be done to boost the low end torque of W204 Kompressor 1.6L.

Have been searching thru and reading all related posts in the forum and it seems the conclusion is to just save the money.

Hence, if that is really the case, then I will just stop searching....

Hi

Did your ride emit any sulphuric smell when you rev it hard? Mine, same model as yours, does. Very irritating.

Yes, It's a common problem. Do a search:

Finally, after digest thru all the feedbacks from fellow forumers, I decided to go along with Mark recommendation and go to Benzline. Got the piggyback fixed just now.

It may looks easy to install and uninstall to an experience person with the necessary tools. But I think I will go back to them whenever I need to have the piggyback removed for whatever reasons.

Now the experience. First is the FC. I am using the in-car meter to monitor. Use to average round 9.4L per 100km. Now is about 7.8L. Hopefully it stays this way and I can recoup my investment quickly. Next is the power. The vehicle is more eager to Chiong. You can sense the power coming from the engine bay with little increase in rpm.

So far, very happy with this investment

I find it strange that Mercedes allow this foul smell defect to persist. They don't seem interested to fix it.

Many bros have experienced it. I've read about people going back to C&C on several occasions. But the solution wasn't given.

It's a big disappointment, especially to me as C180K was my first Merc. In the end I had to let it go. Sigh....
