Got this message ESP faulty, anyone encountered this before? My mechanic quote me $400 plus to change the switch, is the price resonable? Thanks

I did... mine was `angle sensor' faulty so changed at cnc and it cost double your quote. Go figure.

Replaced at the switch at $500.

May I know is this the 'brake switch' located under the speedometer control or are there any other switches?

It is literally connected to the brake pedal, right underneath it.

It holds the depressed brake pedal when you do a "Brake Hold".

Thanks for the reply. Is that the only switch? I did bought a `brake switch` for $50 and ask my mechanic to replace it and he went under the speedometer to change it. Is this the same switch that is discuss here or is there other switch related to ESP? please enlighten me. Tks

Brake switch replacement from CnC was 240+ (diagnostic waived). Why so expensive??
