CEVS

Recommended Posts

Hi Bros and Sis,

Need some advises. I am probably picking up my ride this coming weekend. Had booked the C180 coupe 1.6L. Can I check with people who just picked up their ride probably those who got their ride just when the CEVS being introduce?

As I had done research of what amount of CO2 that the car is producing, I found that its 142g which also under SGCARMART do indicates 142g (tested by LTA). This is eligible for $5K rebate. I read some forum that some owner mentioned that their SE asked them to revise their quote with $5K lower.

Now my question, does anyone who recently gotten their ride, managed to get the rebate? I gotten the emission testing report from my dealer and it's emission was 210.83g instead so thus not eligible for the rebates.

I wants to find out if this is really true because if not getting it and yet when the event of paper value, it still deduct the CEV. That's sucks.

Thanks

Bought from a non-blacklist dealer. I am buying a PI car. I asked him regards to CEVS so he did send me a picture of the report.

The report from VETL came back the CO2 with 210.83g. I likely believe he can't do the control of it but I wondering if the VICOM test lab doing a fast one on this because there's a big backlog order came in March for 2013 order.

Anyone knows of any site or data that has the list of car with CO2 tested and approved by LTA?

can check with LTA.... same car cannot give u different Co2 level... unless the joker tried to con U to believe it... must see the actual report or sent the car for LTA inspection yourself... As long as LTA says your car model is that range... they are not suppose to show u otherwise.... I sense something fishy here... Who U buy from.?

Go C&C showroom... take a picture of the same model and the CEVS sticker... then go bug LTA....

Just a bit of update for who ever interested. Had talked to a LTA engineer, he mentioned that every car is based on the time and date where the testing are done and results as per results. But had questioned him why same model and engine gives different reading? He said likely that the car was not "tune" that's why result differently.

I find it extremely weird so asking him what can i escalate to. He told me to officially write in to LTA. Gonna write a difficult letter to see the result...
