The world Most dangerous thing is the Vehicle. Its not about the machine weather its slow or fast. Its the person who is controlling it. The driver is the brain of the Machine. Not the machine itself.

If the driver reacts slow even the most powerful ABS(Auto braking system) will not help. The driver has to give the car the command in Order for the car to react. Afterall he is the brain of the car.

Could be due to many factors. Check the whole tyre...there could be a stone or solid debris stuck in the tread grooves.  Check the tyre for any bulge on the contact surface by running your hand over it. Unlikely to be brake rotors, as the noise is usually high pitch metallic noise.

tire to old and too hard. I hv same problem previously. now i make sure i chek the Manufacture date before i buy. The DATE are on the tire mark as example "11/12" mean week 11 of year 2012. Never buy tire more than 12 months old.

The older the tyre, the more hardening of tyre rubber compound. That's why older tyres from the shelf are usually cheaper. I would avoid tyres more than 1 yr old too..the 5 yr old & above ones run the high risk of tyre bursting.

If no dust cover, the drive shaft will surely wear out faster as the all the dust & dirt get in . By removing it, it's only a temp solution.

See and see say if change the cover is very labour taxing and not only that, they might have aligment issue as the car age already and many parts start to turn old. Most of the rubbet parts is already harden and cracking if not done properly is not the tyre will vibrate is the whole car will vibrate very badly by then it's deem to enter scrape yard

Have this problem before in my previous car. Changing of the wheel tie rod dust cover is quite a big job, especially, the inner one. The car must be taken up on a jack, wheel out, wheel hub out, wheel bearing out then can access the rubber dust cover. After replacing the dust cover, there is a grease to fill into the dust cover to ensure no dust gets in. The wheel bearing assembly is put back and the car wheel alignment need to be done.

There again, I feel it is very unprofessional for C&C to offer the short cut method. This is because, very soon dust and dirt will get into the wheel bearings and the bearing and shaft will wear off prematurely. The best thing to do is to bite the bullet and get the proper thing done including changing a full set of rear bearings (left and right). They would have worn out already or almost worn if you have not change them for the pass 7 years. If not, a few months later most probably, u would be visiting C&C to change the bearing and also the wheel shaft. That would be real expensive.
