huh? Dr.. i lost you on the power limit issue, sorry i am not an engineer, but volvo s60 1.6 is making 180bhp.. about 30 more than us.

It's not the BHP... check out the torque... how much torque does the S60 make over our C180?

for me, i thought i am moving upward from Kia to MB. reality is not that simple. I tried to put my expectation as low as possible after reading this forum, ignoring juddering wiper, tik tok cooling down sound, car jerking when moving from gears to gears, pulling left.. all these so called common occurrences in w204 i can forgive. but no, it has to give me more.. jia lat. has MB been downgraded to just a marquee name?? they have to learn lesson fast from iPhone, the koreans are relentless.. sooner kia and hyundai will be the marquees. laugh me on this, but at the rate i am going, it is regret after regret everyday..

Then stick with Kia, it will give you better sleep at night rather than get $190k car worry about it day and night.

I had fair share with my previous Merc it gives me hell and for 5 times go to service center for more than 2 days to rectify problem only one time I manage to get courtesy car. I damned pissed sold the car and guess what I got another Merc. But for sure I know the reality do not expect to get red carpet treatment if you are getting only C class, just treat it like another bread and butter car.

Even my friend told me what is the big deal driving Merc $190k if base model Camry already cost $175k?

They did a complete check and find nothing wrong with the car.  Just did a software upgrade ...  :startle:

How long did you have to leave the car there? 2 days? I am sending in my car in for the same check in early Jan. Hope they can fix the problem once and for all.

Earlier I mentioned about 2 mths ago I drove their courtesy car for about 2 weeks until they rectified my issue. My issue is engine light on also, but mine extra things happened, engine always stalled when slow down n come to a complete stopped. B4 tis, i sent in for them to check for about 3 times, all one day job (dunno they really check or not) n can't find any problem. Then i sent them an email, told them I felt i'm risking my life n my family's life when driving a Mercedes car, how bad my work was affected every time i sent in for check n not able to rectify, bla bla bla......., then they replied n told me to wait for a courtesy car to be available. About 2 days later they called me to go over exchange car, they said use until they solve my issue, n dat takes about 2 weeks.

Maybe u can Gay Yam Gay Cho a bit, show pity face, always be nice, dats my style, so far it's always worked. Trust me, ppl like to deal with nice ppl, bang table is always my last last last resort.

Amen to that... totally agree with Bran!

I've stayed loyal to my SA for years and you'll be surprised how those guys will go out on a limb for you to help resolve any issue. Be decent to them and they will craft their reports for you to claim all sorts of warranty and stuffs.

I've seen some pple bang table and being loud and they have this look on their faces that they owned the moment and the SA seem to kowtow to them. Well, while they may win the battle but they surely will loose the war. But then again... some times banging table is inevitable but gotta be sure to use that strategically.
