This brand was provided to me by C&C ...

Was told that this is a 600+ camera, someone hit my car, ran off and wasn't capture on camera.

I saw an E-class  (owner told me collected 3 weeks ago) installing DVR in Tomo last Sat (9th May)

Not sure what brand but he bought from Tomo, told me 600+, front & back with motion/shock sensor to start recording when car is parked. Power tap direct from battery.

 

I understand that Tomo is the local installer for CnC for GPS and reverse camera only. Means they do not do DVR "officially" for CnC today.

(Not sure about back in 2012 when this post first appear)

 

If your DVR from CnC supplied by Tomo,

  them to check if they can help do something about motion sensor for recording when car is parked. May not cost a lot more for an add-on if this feature not included by your SE.

I was looking through the manual of Merc seems to have a lot of feature, quite impressive but C&C didn't include alot of the features.

Installed DVR(motion detector) on Saturday morning at Tomo ard $160. They connected the wires frm internal fuse box. Be aware that they might void battery warranty!

I called CnC and was quoted $700 to install a front and rear camera.  Cant remember the brand, either logan or kogan or longan…...

 

Not sure if tomocse was the installer.

 

Anyone has any experience with this ?

 

If i want to install blackvue, anyone can recommend where can I get it and to have it installed ?

Went to search for the micro SD card again for my motion detector recording. Luckily called them up to check b4 I buy again, apparently what I should look for is MLC format which is the older vision, was told that it's hard to find now!

Managed to call ScanDisk office to locate where can I buy these card, No news frm them after 2 days. Hehehe

Did a search in Qoo10 n found these brand "Gold Flash" frm Korea for ard $30/- but hav to wait for a week.

My GPS installed by them is not working properly (signal issue). Now have to wait for my card to arrive b4 I go to them to rectify.

For those who have the GPS installed thru C&C by them, apprently there's a free map update within a year n thereafter is $100/-!

Drove my Silver E250 last week and was checking out the installation at Pandan Mercedes workshop.

Griffin, is your car DVR the stock one provide by C&C? Why is MLC format required?

Mind was installed by Tomo(C&C approved installer)using 16GB card. Was asked to change 64GB class 10 memory card for the motion detector. The card I've purchased was unable to format, according to them; u need the older version Scandisk MLC class 10 version.

Enquired frm Scandisk, till today no news frm them! Googled Qoo10, managed to find Korean Band n ordered frm them. Should u able to find any suitable 64GB Micro SD card, pls share with us.
