Can share how is this camera so far? I nearly wanted to buy at motor show, but held back.

I am currently using my Garmin and mine comes with the on board camera, so far its been quite good as the Garmin and camera are all mounted on 1 suction mount which I like as it is cleaner and tidier.

But eventually will want to upgrade to something better, in fact, m considering a 360-degree camera for front, back and sides. Drivers these days are really shit, plus, with insurance cost sky-rocketing and with 50% NCD, better be safe than sorry.

Just last week, I realised that my side mirror was folded outward when I return from my breakfast. After that, I did a check on my car, and found a dink on my front right. After I checked the video footage, to my horror, that fellow (the BMW X3 parked on my right) actually opened his door forcefully on purpose. He checked the dink on my ride, opened his door to measure the point of impact and gave my car a 2nd knock deliberately before closing his door.

With the footage, I made a police report for vandalism. Gave the police a copy of the video footage. I also went to CnC @ Pandan Loop. CnC will do a claim against his insurance, and the CnC legal dept will take up the necessary legal action against him if his insurance rejects the claim.

Will be giving him nightmare for the next few weeks dealing with the insurance and police.

I also installed the blackvue from the gb recently. One quick question, how do I know that video is on when in parking mode? I did a silly thing. Before starting the car, I actually tried to activate the video by waving my hands in front of it, expecting to see the lights come on. But it didn't leh. So how we know ar?

yes, but you can choose not to display speed like me . it has parking mode so yes it record 24/7 with motion detection to save power and most likely you need the power magic pro to save power.. yes . just plug out the power cable like me

Yes, displaying speed isn't a good idea, but it's easy to turn that option on and off right? Does the camera turn close to 180degrees? I'm interested in getting one now! New car coming in this weekend, have to be extra careful with it now.

yes easily on off . audio also on off , led light also on off to warn people to STAY AWAY from my AMG! lol.. turn? 180 degrees up down yes.. wide angle lens left to right i think 130degrees if i remember correctly.. now busy cant check for you

can post the video clip here? i am very interested to get a black box system for my car before it arrives. My current ride has been a victim of multiple vandalism which includes damaging and cutting off my radio antenna.
