hi bros, need advice ...

anyone encounter "ABS & ESP Inoperative, Run-flat Inoperative" message on the speedo?

Ran the diagnostic and found it to be speed signal (sensor) fault ..

Mech said need to check for the parts replacement, is it safe to drive when ABS & ESP inoperative??

My car is from PI, warranty just over, can recommend good Merc workshops to carry out checks and servicing? Since warranty over, should I go for TWM warranty??

Pls advise .. thanks, Cheers!!

TWM!! Do a search here & please read up. Look for our starkblack or MBM for advise. Is dangerous to drive without ESP & ABS, go real slow if u need the car.

Few months back also got this issue.. turns out is a brake light switch that is faulty.. You can also try to operate cruise control and speed limiter, and it does not work too for my case.

That is after I change my tyres. Anyway.. paid $140+ for C&C to fix. mine is a W211 E200K.. '08.

had it checked with MBM and another Merc specialised workshop, it's confirmed that it's the speed signal sensor (front-left) faulty .. said it's common problem in almost all Mercs

problem is .. MBM said need to change all four sensors when the latter workshop said only required to change the faulty one.

What do you guys think? pls advise .. thanks

Wa....like wat bro arshavin quoted, if its under warranty go C&C fr a geniune claim. :becky:

Otherwise tat particular sensor shld be replace unless you wanna peace of mind than change both frt two sensors lor!

If nt go Starblack just to change the faulty frt left sensor if MBM insist tat 4 sensors needed to be replace which u re nt comfortable la! :hand:
