Wiper noise

Hi Guys,

 

Just gotten my 2012 W212 E200. Was using the wiper yesterday and there is this scratching noise. Anyone has that or know where to get a better wiper?

You can get genuine Mercedes part from the stockist or you can actually try to wash of the wax on your glass. Should be the cause of juddering . A common problem

so it's the wax used on the windscreen then..

If its RainX or wax, can polish off.

My W211 got this problem lastly (wax due to car wash with wax contend).

Had the windscreen polish and all is good.

Can send to CnC to do the polishing... They used some white liquid to do the polish...

If I am not wrong, can buy the liquid from the boutique at the showroom.

Just to share...I poured a little portion of my car shampoo (Meguiars) on the wind screen and use a clean clay bar to lather the shampoo in circular motion. Works well. Do this once in every 2 months if you use spray wax.. The overspray tends to land on our windscreen. My 2 cents to share with all.. happy detailing..

Actually if u use rain x lightly, it helps to smoothen the wiper. The trick is that u need to apply sparingly on a wet towel, wipe all other windows and wipe your front windscreen lastly. Most juddering are cause by residual wax. Whenever u wash your car, do give your wiper a light wash, that will help to clean and prolong it.
