my B class comes with NTG2.5 there is no navigation menu on the instrument panel cluster no matter how the technical guys trying to re-code it... damn.....

is the navigation menu is not available on year 2008 B170?

i just retrofitted my B180 with comand from ricky on saturday. according to him, it's not possible to code the B-Class instrument cluster to display the navigation info for the MY2008 and after as the new software the doesnt support coding the instrument cluster anymore.

imho, might have to code it with older software for it to work!

My retrofitted NTG 2.5 works well with instrument cluster display for navigation.

I guess your Navigation is working except no information of Navigation on the instrument cluster.

U might wanna approach Ricky Lo or Camber53 to take a look and try coding for you!

i heard that the instrument cluster parts for the FL B class is different from the pre-facelift, hence the old software will not be able to work on the FL B Class.

Also the new software no longer allowed coding to be done on the A and B Class instrument cluster.

guess i had to replace the instrument cluster on my B180 to the pre-FL one in order for the coding to be done. :tsk:

Don't change instrument cluster, change car lah!....hehehe!! :lol:

For me maybe I was "lucky"

After retrofitting, no nav display on instrument cluster.

I was fore-warned before rerofitting!

However the coding was done with older software!

Maybe our Bro wintercold should give the 2 Comand experts to have a go at it! :hand:

Bro, don't worry, I will get the SCN coding to try the instrument cluster coding for your ride later on at my local partner workshop as it's only the A/B-Class after MY2008 has such issue at this moment. This is what I have coded for the B-Class MY2008 before.

Heard the FL W211 (MY2007/8) also have the same issues, is there a solution found for it? I've been holding off retrofitting because of this issue.

I installed NTG 2.5.

was  so easy to do this with Vediamo 05.01.01.  :wub:

Also DTS Monaco 8.08.21 DAG its perfect for this jobe.!!!! :wub:

 

Now I will add also VIM for NTG 2.5 by software.

 

Who need I can help with this software.
