W211 Stalling

Hi guys,  am using a 09 w211 e200 NGT model. Recently experiencing stalling at low speed while coming to a stop or while stationary at traffic lights in drive mode,  and during reversing as well.  Step on the accelerator and the stalling goes off.  Sometime even have to off n on the car again. Driving no problem, only when the car is under load in above situation. Appreciate advise to rectify the problem. Many thanks.

Hi,

The CEL showed Cam sensor, mis-firing, cam shaft inlet signal.. And I did the following:

1. New set of Cam sensors

2. Vacuum pipes above engine and those around the kompressor unit changed. Even change the small idle control valve that is connected to this vacuum pipe.

3. Change both O2 sensor

4. Clean the throttle body, MAF,  egr valve system.

5. Change new fuel pump system..

My suspect is air leaking somewhere or valve..

some workshop who says need to open up the engine block, but no guarantee..

Greatly appreciate alternative views.

The stalling effect is less now.. in addition to the above, carried out the following:

1. chemical wash the catalytic converter n muffler

2. weld the small pint holes on the exhaust system at jeep chee...

3. Will change the egr valve... cos the effect of a faulty egr look similar... though cleaned, the diaphragm valve might be not openning n closing properly. As this is not electrically connected, its function will affect all the sensors..

hopefully this change can solve the problem... otherwise is the MAF or throttle body.. but these 2 will throw a fault code if not function properly.
