Hi Bros,

Any recommendation for engine repair specialist? My 09 W212 randomly has a helicopter sound (loud sound) when it is accelerating and when it is decelerating and falls always in between 10-50km/h. Any experts there can advice? Cam-shalf Problem? Turbo leak? Thanks in advance.

If you not suffer any loss in power or Engine Check Light, likely it's your engine and gear box mounting.

Some describe it like motor boat sound! :)

Cheers

Hi, I’ve the same problem - sudden loud engine noise especially at low speed/Low gear or driving up ram. Experienced power loss. What is likely the problem? Sent to mechanic and check with computer but no fault found 🤦🏻. Mechanic also no idea what’s wrong but heard the noise.
