Jus gotten my X117 yesterday. Everything is good but doesn't come with GPS.

Can anyone help or advise?

You can retrofit Comand which is the original navi system from Merc, comes with larger screen, DVD player, built in HDD to store your music, and Apps. This'll set you back roughly $3k, and the map updates I future will cost around $400~.

You can also choose to install an integrated aftermarket touchscreen GPS to your current Audio 20 (stock) audio system. Will cost roughly $1500.

Last option, go to any IT store and purchase a portable GPS. Cheap and reliable.

This X117 comes with audio 20 with the larger LCD, however it doesn't come with GPS function.

I've already listed the 3 possible ways in the post you quoted! There's NO way to get original Merc navi on Audio 20, if you want to keep your Audio 20, only way is to install an integrated aftermarket touchscreen Navi system making use of the Audio 20 screen. Which is the second option I listed.
