There's only CLA200 from C&C now i think haha

Yup, made to sign the form as well

I did ask about Malaysia how since they have 97

Yup, mine also CLA200. Going to get the car registered next week. Today my SE told me to sign the form. I refused cos I said this wasn't told to me when I booked the car. I have never come across any dealer asking buyers to sign such agreement regarding use of petrol grade. It's not right nor fair that the buyer has to be held to ransom just because he has paid the deposit and COE secured. Shall see what happens next.

Did anyone of you have problem with the integrated reverse camera and GPS supplied with the car?

Mine has a lot of "snowing" on the screen, fidgeting and freezes. Brought car back to C&C yesterday. Their contractor Tomo-CSE claimed to have replaced th faulty equipment but today I got back all these problems and worse...the reverse camera no longer works.

Scheduled to return next Monday for a specialist check. Any idea what is the problem?

My reverse cam is ok - dont have such issues

Hi xtrocious,

Can trouble you to check your car manual to see what it says about the minimum petrol type you need to use for your CLA? Many thanks.

My SE also make me sign the form when they ask me down to re sign the agreement form due to the change of delivery date. When they show me the form. I was also shock. But than I also just sign it because I also only use 98. But now than realise that Malaysia don't have until i saw you guys say that Malaysia only at 97. But is their V POWER also 97 in malaysia not 98?

VPower in Malaysia got 2 type - VPower 97 and VPower Racing. VPower 97 is RON97 fuel. VPower Racing is of higher octane (Shell Malaysia did not disclose the octane level but stated minimum RON97 level).

The issue is VPower Racing is not available at every Shell station in Malaysia. Only selected station available, mostly in KL and Johor, see link : http://s03.static-shell.com/content/dam/shell-new/local/country/mys/downloads/pdf/shell-stations-mys-offering-v-power-racing-may2013.pdf

You may need to check on whether our 95 here meets the requirement

I have no idea...paiseh

This is good enough. Thanks very much for your trouble.

The manual clearly says at least 95 octane rating. (If anyone knows better, please correct me. Thanks). So why does C&C insist that owners have to use 98?? I'm sure many owners will use 98 for their cars for better performance or whatever. But I feel it is not right for C&C to insist owners sign the form. And if you don't, warranty void. Ransom man!

No worries hahah

Used to pump only 98 for my C200 but have switched to 95 for nearly a year without any problem

Probably KS on the part of C&C bah although it's debatable if they should get owners to sign the waiver...
