...because after trolling the forums for a while now, you guys have poisoned me to such an extent that:

1. I already have a mod wish-list AND a Day-1 mod list, and my SE still can't tell me where the hell my W204 is

2. I know I can ask about everything about my car here and someone will helpfully point me to some workshop that would probably do a great job and suck my wallet dry

3. I am starting to chant "if mod, don't scared. If scared, don't mod" in my sleep, and more importantly to my Minister of Finance.

I'm sure a lot of new-comers will have similar findings. Great group, I can't wait to go to my first SGMerc GTG!

You may wanna post your mod list here, and we will make you hate the forum even more :P

But i think its not you who hates this forum, its the finance minister.

Here you go:

Day 1 mod on a FL W204 C180K:

- Lorinser RS-9 (8.0x18) (probably Benzline)

- Single fin grille C63-style (Dr Hannson)

- Xenon headlights (Sonic Racing)

- The daytime driving light mod that blackmerc was talking about in an old thread

Mod wishlist:

- Comand (waiting for the NTG4.5 to be available – as told by Ricky)

- ECU plug-and-play

Still mulling over the paddle shift idea and a bodykit.

Not sure you guys heard this before.... Viezu V-Switch.

Was recommended by my cousin to install this who work in a very reputable garage in Singapore that carry this product.

You can switch to suit different condition and was told that it can unleashed the power of my car (C180K)!

The best thing is that it will not void warranty!

Price is about $1xxx.00.... still comtemplating whether to do it or not.

share with you guys and whoever knew about this product, maybe can share.....

http://www.viezu.com/product-range/vswitch-video-page

anyone interested also can PM me, i can intro my cousin to you

For your rims, make sure its flush swee swee with the body, and lower your ride to complete the look!

Was considering lowering the car, but then there's like 237349857598 speed humps for every stretch of road here in SG. Also, some car parks here are just not very kind to lowered cars >.<

Is yours lowered? Are my concerns valid?

Mine is lowered. :)

The benefit is much better handling and control at high speeds and cornering especially, I can really feel the difference the moment i leave the workshop. Generally sg roads are quite well maintained so potholes or uneven roads are quite rare. Also, the looks of the car after lowering is just awesome. So benefits outweighs cons to me at least.

Well, just be careful and slow down when approaching humps or within MSCP. I've never faced any issues with humps in sg, except once when I was in Tuas visiting my customer's factory, and they have these ridiculously high humps...
