Asked those on VAGSG owners whose rides kena "flash of death".

Jerky & rough gear changes!

Asking VCS to extend tranny warranty period!

Best 7G-Tronics & 7G-Tronics Plus - Nuthing but the Best!

6 speed wet clutch DSG is good :)

Have owned & driven both robustly but DSG shift faster & unlike 7 Gtronic, it does not need nor use torque convertor hence it doesn't sap power.

Yes DSG is slightly jerky but heh, it's after all an automated clutch or double clutch system. Lots of DSG megatronics fails simply because the driver abuse the gearbox far too much (did that & gearbox failed which was caused by the megatronic). If u fit an LSD to the DSG, it'll be super smooth, however one needs to maintain the DSG with frequent tranny oil change.
