Hi everyone. Can anyone advise me about this intermittent problem I have.

Firstly, I got a message from the car system tellin me that my 'Rear right side marker lamp' is not working. After changing the bulb, all was well for the next two days, then the same message appeared. The next time I started my car, the message disappeared and it was working again. Shortly during the drive, the same message appeared again! .... Till now.

Anyone knows about this ? Thanking you in advance.

Look for sonic as they will able to resolve yr problems. This is due to the pin connector issue.

Mod can put a CASH ONLY tag on surpass auto? Yesterday go there pick and choose, happily want to pay, cash or cheque only.....heavy downpour after that.....nearest ATM Ubi...... :hot:

I just changed mine in May, original MB wipers, $85+GST=$90.95 at Surpass Auto Parts Supplies.

Here is my bad experience to share about Tat EE Air-con Parts:

13th Oct 2012

Went to the shop, told the counter staff i wish to buy an aircon compressor for my W211 manufactured in yr 2004, i even wrote down my chassis number for reference, which they say they do not need it. The staff confidently they told they know and brought me Denso compressor to the counter. Because i am not from workshop, they cant quote me the price. The boss (Ah Chew) came back and quoted me $370 before GST.

Brought the compressor to my regular workshop, told them i got the compressor myself, shall pay them labor fees to replace it. The mechanic went ahead to do the job. After an hour, the mechanic told me the compressor is a WRONG ONE! I should get one with 7PK (threads count) instead of 6PK. Immediately i called Tat EE and spoke with Ah Chew, he asked me if the compressor was installed, i replied Yes, but i am still at the workshop. Then he raised his voice saying that once out of the box and installed, cannot be exchanged!!! I argued that they sold me a wrong one. From no where, he got this fictitious 'memory' that he did ask me if i wanted a 6PK or 7PK, and i told him that i wanted a 6PK. What the hell, i have never heard of this 6 vs 7PK compressor specification ever.... He refused to barge, raised his voice and accused i talk in 'bird language'!!!

I concluded i am not going anywhere arguing with him. I hanged up and told the workshop to buy another new one for me. i spent another $750.

That will work if ou know exact what is the specs of the spare part to buy. What if I bought the suspension from stockist and bring to workshop and the workshop says it doesn't fit? Don't know whether stockists accept refunds or returns...

IMO, you visit a doctor, describe ur problem then you get a prescription. To a large extend, u have to trust the doc n the drugs u r being prescribed. If the doctor fail to treat appropriately, u can report him.

In my case with Tat EE, they failed their business motto being an auto Aircon parts 'specialist'. They made a mistake, by not admitting and rectifying it, they r simply making another mistake... Sad.
