Would like to commend on Gallop:

I wanted to buy:

a) outside rubber boot (the triangle one) for my RHS wing mirror

B) RR power window motor+regulator (they come together, apparently)

Almost all stockists I called do not have stock for the above. One chop shop quoted me an arm and leg for the brand new mirror rubber boot and used PW motor+regulator.

Gallop has both parts and the price is very reasonable. Also ended up buying spark plugs, wiper blade, oil filters, brake pads, and the monowiper assembly (apart from the wiper assembly and window motor+regulator, the rest of the parts for my W124 are unbelievably cheap). All in, I am very happy with their prices and will probably patronise them regularly from now on.

Thanks to those who pointed out this shop.

I think he only supplies the Car workshops directly unlike those that have been mentioned who may do retail in a bigger way (he told me he only do workshop biz, but he still entertains me). U can get most merc parts from him (he uses the similar merc parts number program as my Car Service workshop). Please dun overload him else next time I can't get through the line :shocked:

If U are AA member, they deliver to your car & instal for U on the spot!

IIRC about $200+ German brand Hoepekke!

Thank you very much for the info uncle!

Will that void warranty if battery is changed from outside workshop?I actually had ICE set up in my car.Think stock battery not so "lasting".

Ya is truly waste of a time going there. Got once i want to purchase a spare parts for my buddy. System show ex-stock then make payment & proceed to the store for collection. The storeman one look at the D/O knew that is non stock item.

Then LL went back to the old guy & ask for refund!
