Q: On CLS

CLS Owners here?

Looking to buy one, but have a few questions on the car....

1: Know anyone that can convert the back to 3 seater?

2: What BBK's are there for this car

3: Any body kits for this model sold in Singapore?

1. v hard to convert becos of the big chunk for the shaft at the centre. Even if you convert, the centre passenger will not be comfortable during the trip. basically need to part to legs wide.

2. there is merz own BBK available for both front and back. You can buy new. If you want used one, i got a set removed from my last ride.

3. Basically this car does not need anymore body kit, is a classic of its own already.

1) i think is possible, you dont have to remove the entire chunk, you add leather padding over it. I might be wrong though go and check out with the leather shop guys.

Plenty of Body Kits avail for CLS.

AMG , Brabus , Lorinser , Carlsson just to name afew.

And you can modify the kits if you wish to be diff...

Called Jackspeed, they say buy the car and they will try to convert it.. they did on a X6 only....

I guess, I have to ask around anyone else knows.....

*Like to move from a Bimmer to Merc, for a change!

Try cushion 8 for second opinion. My mods instinct tell me is possible.

I'm also keen to know as i'm also on the lookout for one....

i feel that this car should not be too bodykitted modded.

the styling is already very sleek.

if done wrongly the lines wont flow.

The AMG kit remains the smoothness and most appropriate for the CLS

Saw 2 CLS over the weekend.... CO approve on the car even with 2 seaters..... She likes the styling!

One was Black with very nice light brown inteior.... sunroof... 2XK km... 2 owners 2005 model, AMG specs...... but! ....... PI!!!! Not a C & C car....

Other one was Black on Dk grey or gray/black interior..... can't say I like the interior...

5xK km, 1 owner, AMG specs, 2005 model, Super Beng (Excuse my French) salesman try to sell the car... turn off!!!.. Keep telling me about the AMG rims... like I care... bro's this car has to ride on Big 20" or 22"

Still looking.... Miss out on a 1 owner 07 model 27k km AMG spec. Silver CLS... SOLD~! damn!

Anyone can help? Good to deal with direct owners!

Look for Raymond at Ray-s..... he knows his work on rims... $$$ not cheap!

Actually, for cars with no more warranty, PI or C&C cars does not matter anymore! Don't let the dealer smoke you and tell you that cos his is C&C car so more valuable!

Also, sometimes if mileage is too low, I'll tend to get suspicious.....

Just for your info in searching for this beauty.....

There are diff in 2005 and 2007 model. Some parts like climate aircon, keyless ......so on and so on.....

Some C&C 2007's car are still not the so call FL but all PI 2007 car are FL.

Pls take note.

Just like Bro NweC180 said, car exceeded the 3 yrs wty period doesnt matter much anymore. Only diff is the OMV, AD car might be around $77K but PI will be as low as $55K.

A 6 yrs old car clock 20+K km ??? Doesnt mean low mileage is good !!!

Happy seaching....this wonderful car but i better warn you if yourself or regular pessenger are above 1.78m in height, give a secong tots....

Just swop from a Bimmer to a Mercy.

Still trying to get use to no Idrive screen and a less sporty drive.

But the comfort and luxurious feel of the CLS is really shiok.

Looking to replace my AMG rotors and pads. any tips?

Hahaah! Owner you don't want cause too high to maintain.... loves cars, watches, cameras and anything from Apple store!

I saw the CLS in Paris last year! front looks good....

Anyway, I found many cool 'grills' for the CLS.... can't wait to find a car...

Sure! 19in can clear. My current CLS55 on 19in with 6,4 too. This set of BBK used for short period only.

If you interested, I also got 20in HRE rims w offset fitted for CLS. Buy both give special price. Looks especially cool on black cars. (P.S. HRE rims are used for Ferrari, Lambo etc)
