Car Battery: Multu

Recommended Posts

Hi, does anyone has had used this battery brand before?  It seems to be a Turkish manufacturer and there is little information that I can find about it.  Of course, it came with 1 year warranty as usual.

Recently I changed workshop and had to change battery for the third time in 4th year.  Last 2 rounds were Varta. The battery price is almost the same.

The workshop recommended the above brand and increase it from a 70ah to 80ah.  Then the start/stop worked and the whole instrument cluster is a lot more brighter, headlights are also brighter.

Any feedback will be helpful.  Thanks

The spec " 70 Ah / 80 Ah " does not affect the electrical power sent to the Start/Stop mechanism(s) nor the instrument cluster.

70 Ah means the battery has enough Energy to provide, for example, 1 Ampere for 70 hours (or 70 Amperes for 1 hour, or 700 Amperes for 0.1 hour, ...)

So 70 or 80 Ah is not the measurement that affects your Start/Stop nor the Instrument cluster.
Mechanism performance is defined by Power = Voltage x Current.

Whereas "70 Ah" is the amount of Energy stored in the batt.

Just for info.  😃
