COE Renewal Questions

Hi everyone, 

My C180 is due to renew its COE in 1.5 years time. I intend to keep the car.

Is it better to renew 5 years or 10 years? I understand that I will lose the PARF value totally.

10 years is more “worth” it as annual depreciation is lesser.

for example Parf 22k plus COE 32k work out a annual depreciation of 5.4k per year

for 5 year renewal be 22k plus 16k which out out 7.6k per year

For both case importantly don total lost the car once renew as that’s the most painful lost because no more Parf once renewed.

i gave up renewing a W211 as the parf is nearly 40k
