2008 W204 C180-Car 'dead' going on road hump

Much appreciate if anyone whom have similar experiences can shed some light on this matter.

Few weeks ago, car occasionally will go into 'dead' mode after going on road/speed hump especially high road humps installed near carpark barrier.

On occasions even while driving at low speed over road hump, sometimes the indicator for engine, temperature will lit up and dashboard will display message showing "ABS and ESP currently unavailable".

This message and indicator light will later goes off without any intervention.

Lately the problem have escalated to difficulties in starting car in the morning, needed several times of cranking before car could start.

Last Saturday sent to mechanic, checked battery still good, mechanic remove some residual corrosion on +ve wire terminal. After going through diagnostic check, commented its ECU card problem.Recommend to have ECU card repair estimated $1k++.

Mechanic mentioned new ECU replacement about $4k++. I have never encountered  this kind of problem with MB cars before. So any form of comments or advice would be much appreciated.

That may be a faulty ABS hydraulic pump and/or module

What do you mean by 'dead' mode? Nothing on the audio screen? engine stall?

Is it all indicators take turn to light up and rotate among themselves? such as 'release footbrake', 'check coolant level', 'ABS and ESP unavailable', etc..  all light up and take turn to be displayed on the dashboard?
