For those driving W213, does your side mirror tilt downwards automatically when you reverse your car?

I went through the steps but somehow it does not work for some reasons

At step 3, press button 1 instead of button 2. This is for right hand drive vehicles.

Mine is 1 year old A200FL. I tried the instructions.. with key in "on".. i couldn't engage reverse.  I had to start the car and it worked.

Thank you! It seems to work but how to make the right side mirror tilt downwards instead of the left?

Mirror tilt is for left mirror only for right hand drive

Driver's side mirror cannot tilt downwards.  Only the passenger side mirror tilts to help you see the curb. I just wind down window and look out for the driver's side. 😁

W213 comes with 360 degree camera, which helps gauge all around distances when reversing, in addition to tilting left side mirror.

My concern is when I am turning in or out of a carpark as the entrance/exit tends to be curvy and narrow. I am afraid my right side may hit the curb especially when I try to slot in the 2-hour free parking coupon into the cash card machine. In order to reach the cash card machine, I tend to drive closer to the machine and this may result in me inching closer to my right and I may hit the curb with my rear right wheel.
