You shld be able to choose for the light to be lit up when the door is open. The switches are at the sunglasses glove area. Check it out.

Hmm.. Just checked the sunglasses area which is front roof area, I can't seem to locate thee switches. Got pix? It will be really helpful. Thanks!

The switch is for internal light.

Hi patpoh, do your front door got light when open?

Hi. Yes. Both front doors' are lighted up when doors are opened. Only the rear doors, although the light housings are there.

Hi. Just an update to this issue. Opened up the light enclosures and discovered that there are no bulbs or wire connectors. So they are intended not to be lighted. Very strange to even have such option.. Cannot understand.

Your is a coupe? Mine is a SUV.

Mine is SUV from CnC. Just checked, front and rear doors all lighted up.

I would have thought it is a safety feature as the part of the light facing the rear is red and act as a light marker to warn any cyclist/vehicle approaching from the rear that your door is opened.
