Frequent visit to c&c due to problems

Hi everyone. As of today, 6 months of owning my brand new c180 w205, i encountered another error on my display. 

 

December 16 - Collected car

Jan 17 - Driver seat cover (side) came off

feb 17 - Passenger seat cover (side) came off 

march 17 - undercarriage cover cake off due to heavy rain or so what they told me 

may 17 - wiper fluid cannot come out, they said the pump spoil 

June 17 - wiper tank leak, hence display show, pls top up wiper fluid, I use two bottles of soap then realized it is leaking to the floor. 

Now, display shows, please top up coolant. 

 

Is this Mercedes standard? I am not enjoying this. Can we use lemon law to ask for an exchange?

Think hard to use Lemon law cos it is still under warranty and AD honor the repairs.

Maybe those familiar consumer law can advise. 

u can try complain and request for more service credits for the inconveniences.

Jasonbwy, what is the country of manufacture for this W205? Germany or South Africa?

Not sure if there is a possible quality issue based on country of manufacture?

Maybe the owners in this forum can give some feedback.

Should be made in South Africa. Yea hope to get some feedback. Causing me a lot of time and effort. Lol

The W205 is made in East London, SA..

This factory has won awards for it's factory, but I guess there can still be issues. Hope it gets resolved. Not acceptable for a Merc or any other make. Do make some noise with your rep..

my driver seat side cover also came off...but I managed to fix it back myself. Then my driver side door rubber seal came loose...and when I check on the back right door the seal also almost give way. went to c&c and they rectified it in half a day...but I was really appalled at the quality of the car.

Could it due to the intense heat that the rubber came off? I wonder did the South Africa factory "tropicalised" the rubber sealant to suit our hot and humid climate?

No problem at all with mine, more than 2 years. But made in Germany :-)
