which tinted film better?

Hi, appreacciate some advice here. I wanted to install vkool but read abt the gps issue. Anyone has this issue and care to share?

Mercedes from C&C uses Huber Optik film. You may want to consider that?

You can consider our site sponsors Infratint and Absolute tint. Personally I use Absolute tint and don't have any GPS issues.

My previous ride from C&C came with huper optik and I find it no effect at all....so think I will skip that.

So either 3M or Vkool....anyone can advise on the effect on gps?

Just look at the technology behind the films

Metallic splutter (vkool)  vs ceramic splutter coating (huper optik) . 

Metallic ones give quite some problem with radio signal including gps and ERP/IU. That's why for vkool, iirc, they cut a hole where the IU is attached to make sure the IU still works.

I am on 3M. go for the highest grade. Its pretty comparable to Vkool. Plus they don't have to cut a hole to accommodate the IU.

So among the 3 tinted films Huber Optik, Vkool and 3m, the worse is Huber Optik?

Personally I have tried huper optik for 2 cars, no complaints.

Like the greyish tint instead of the greenish tint of Vkool. 

Never get chance to try 3M. But frankly after the first week, you probably will not even bother about the films anymore.
