Mercedes Original Coolant

Thanks for the reply!

But I already bought coolant from stockist yesterday morning.. mixed it with 50% distilled water (kiasu) and topped up into the reservoir.

According to my understanding, by right coolant level shouldn't come down and triggered the sensor.. unless there is a leak somewhere... seems like a slow leak to me.. will have to monitor if the coolant level drops again over time.. correct me if i am wrong on the above sentence in bold :)

Yes, coolant level should not come down and trigger sensor. If it happens, say once a year is ok.

If it happens once every 1 to 2 months, go check out the leakage.

Mine did not trigger for years, until one fine day triggered once a few months, then to once a few weeks.

Found hairline crack on radiatior

Mine got triggered after 9 months. C&C did pressure test and nothing abnormal detected. It was explained that the car is turbo charged and the heat cause the evaporation. Don't q make sense for me for the amt paid and it's a new car. LL. Will continue to monitor.

Radiator hairline crack won't see immediate large amount of leak with pressure test.

I have not filled a single drop on my E250 turbocharge for the past 2 years, even during car service. It's always full.
