Distronic Plus and Driving Assistance Package

Anyone with the latest distronic plus and associated driving assistance package can give feedback on the system. 

Is it useful in local traffic context? 

C&C wants 8+k for the full driving assistance package which includes the distronic plus,  blindspot assist,  lane keeping,  precollision plus? 

Distronic plus stand alone already 4+k. 

Is it worth the while? I still got some time to add in the option.

My gla had that feature. Distronic plus is like cruise control, once you set a certain speed, the system will accelerate, decelerate and even brake for you. Blindspot assist is very useful, the triangle on the wing mirror will turn red if detect something at the blindspot, will beep if you engaged with signal of that particular side with something detected at the blindspot. Lane keeping, I found nothing special. Only vibrate the steering wheel if you cross the lane marking without engaged signal. Collision prevention assist plus is a level above basic CPA, help you to brake if you didn't do so. But most of the time I engaged brake myself cos must be very very near and your speed is faster than the in front vehicle then the system will do it for you.

Not with CnC?

They will ident the car with the features you want and they don't do retrofit afaik
