Hi, need help here. Will be driving up to Malaysia 1st time later this month and do I need to register VEP?

Intend to drive up using Tuas CP. Can I just drive in without registering?

Please do visit https://vep.jpj.gov.my/ for online registration.

Bro driving up to Malaysia with your Merc?

Be mentally prepared if you drive back in a Proton......or Perodua....

Not advisable.....but if u must be careful.

C'mon....it's not that bad. I've driving up with my Mercs, past BMW & LEXUS over the years with no problem.

I am working in Johor and drive in Mon to Fri for the last nearly 4 years.

Even on some weekends, I drove in with my family for makan & shopping and occasionally drive up North as far as Penang.

So far so good! :)

Be aware of your surroundings!

VEP will be implicated likely 1st Oct '16 but may not need to register for VEP.

VEP TnG payment devices have been put up at all Immigration booth beside the usual toll charges TnG devices

Thanks for the advise. As it will be my 1st attempt to drive up via Tuas, I am not sure how much to pay for Touch and Go and where to top up if the amount is insufficient. question:blush:
