Is weird that u pump more than 65 liters. Any petrol smell at the rear seat area? How many km for full tank?

I dont pump full tank, but it seems ard the ball park figures.

It is "suppose" to clock ard 7.8ltr/100km,,, but I guessed bcos of our city and "short-distances" driving- it is pretty much difficult to achieve these reflected specification.

My spouse does most of  the driving and she manages ard 9.9km.

I'm more light-footed and manages abit better than her. :D

My last tank clock 770km at 80litres.

Tat really amaze me.

My ex GS can pump 67litres I feel really good Liao.

When I manage to squeeze 79litres the first time, u can see me crawling on floor looking for a fuel leak.

Really puzzle me.

Did previous owner did something fishy to the tank...lol... To go JB for cheap oil...

Our tank is bigger than what's stated... I usually pump close to 70 litres....when the reserve fuel message comes on... 75 litres and that's when the Yellow lights comes on...  you have around 2 litres when the red light appears... play safe... our engines once run out of petrol.... very problematic....

All W212 E200/250 will be of the 1.8 CGI engine

badge differences is because of different time of release

the newer version got 7G-Tronic emblem but that only tells the type of gearbox.

Engine is the same.

My one tank full can clock 680Km

I drive a end 2012 E200

Don't get confused between CDI & CGI

CDI is for Diesel

CGI is for petrol

The actual full name damn long.. I lazy to write... Hehehe

Compressed diesel injection and compressed gasoline injection

Compressed diesel injection and compressed gasoline injection

Should be Charged Diesel Injection & Charged Gasoline Injection

meaning turbo-charge diesel fuel injection and turbo-charge gasoline fuel injection.

MB used to have this Kompressor badging meaning Supercharged Engine eg E200K, C180K

  • 5 years later...

W212 comes with 59L by default.

Just got my COE 212, Was wondering how come my car top up 48L then full already.

After Speaking to some workshop, and comparing a few Vins,

Mine happen to be a PI W212 from British, the Importer didn't spec for 915,

Compared to C&C cars from Singapore and Malaysia, all of them seem to come with this "915" option.
