Apple Carplay or Android Auto

Still no clue how owners with C Class W205 or those cars manufactured before Jul 2016 can onboard this Carplay into their vehicles....

Let us know how and maybe those without Carplay in their vehicles can do a group installation.....

I have just updated Android Auto yesterday and the new version open up option to choose navigation apps other than Google Map. I believe it is now up to Waze to make itself compatible to Android Auto! Can't wait for waze to launch!

Did you set the Bluetooth Tether to 'on'? If yes and still no connection, restart the Bluetooth connection (off and on again). I managed to connect to tunein radio on my Audio 20. Sound quality was below mark though.

Haven't really use my Garmin map though and was happy that it has 3D and junction view...:)

Didn't realise I have also posted in this thread. Some update. Waze for Android Auto is working now, but it is still in beta version. Although it is in beta, but it is very usable with some quirks.

Dear Bros,

New to this topics, some queries please:

1. After installing the after market Apple Carplay (AC) or/and Android Auto (AA), does it mean that if there is an upgrade, we need to pay for another installation?

2. Does the installation price comes with installation of both AC and AA at the same price, or separate price? Need to consider this in case change of changing mobile phone (Android <-> iphone) next time.
