Hi Bro, Good Day

I got a quote from a popular workshop in Sin Ming to replace a pair each of front airmatic suspension (OEM BIlstein), lower control arm (Euro OEM Meyle/Mahle) and front linkage (Euro OEM Meyle/Mahle).  Labour/supply  $4818 (incl GST).  This is the 1st change in 97,000km. Am I overpaying ? Know of a  cheaper solution ?

Would like to hear from you !!

Cheers...Mike

Last I done the replacement my cost as follows:

Front air Matic around 950 one piece

Lower arm 150 one piece

Thrust arm 130 one piece

Total including labour should cost you less than 3000 to replace

of course it's better to change a pair so as to strike a "balance", usually if you change just 1-side and go for wheel alignment (important), it should ride ok. However, since the other side of the airmatic strut is also "old" liao, it is only a matter of time you will need to replace it (usually within next 1 year). It's air suspension, ride is acceptably ok.

it's up to you and your expectation of a smooth ride. :phew:
