2006 FL W211 E200 Center-Aircon-Vent no Wind

Hi All E-Class Guru,

 

My E200 W211 2006 FL...center aircon vent got no wind even turn up to high fan power (all the way to Speed Nos:5)

 

However, the side and rear aircon vent is cold and windy.

 

I was wondering did I accidentally press something that stop the center vent from blowing ?

 

Any advise would be great...

Its the typical W211 pre FL issue with aircond.

 

What you have to do is press the "Auto" aircond button, let the car select it's own fan speed (likely at full blast), then you readjust it down manually.

 

Check and see if yours work that way

Yes..I was able get the center vent blowing using your tips.

 

And I also realised that the driver side aircon cold-wind seem to be different from the passenger side.

 

The driver side is much warmer...is that another typical W211 aircon issue, any tips to remedy this ?

If driver side is warmer than passenger side, and the center aircond right side (near driver) is also warmer than your left side (near passenger),  your aircond is leaking gas. Go top up aircond gas

Is there any other way to fix this other than pressing “Auto”? Mine needs to be off then press “Auto” after a few minutes to work. 

 

Is the blower regulator faulty or what?
