Always follow the 'User Manual'. DO NOT TRUST those sales folks' word for it. Lesson learnt from decades of riding motorcycles and driving.

You are lucky with a 3-months wait time. Nowadays, most models have a wait time of 5-6 months on average.

That's the standard servicing guideline.

U can do servicing anytime u prefer example at 8k or 10k intervals.

Negative, no CarPlay as standard, remains in COMMAND option which is approx S$10-12k more (totally not worth it imo).

What is more important is the rationale for this longer service interval. It does not mean any car you can do so or even Mercedes you can do so (if different engine oil is use).

Requested the tyre shop to do a weight and comparison when i upgraded to 18". Approx. weight of the 17" stock rim + run flat tyre = 21.8kg.

I did weight them at LS .,. 21kg on the scale ... I believe my 18" rims should be lighter than the current 17". I have skip using the RFT.

Hi. Need some help please. I noticed the car roll back on slop a bit. I read the instruction manual that the car has a brake hold function but I can't seems to activate it. Does anyone know if our a class had this feature and how to activate it ?

Secondly when I am on auto start stop at traffic light and the engine cuts off..very often my aircon turns the closed circulation off and I have to turn it on again very frequently . Anyone knows how to prevent that without deactivating the start stop ?

Hi there,

To activate brake hold simply depress brake gently all the way down. You should see a (HOLD) in between your temp and time display at the top. Anyway, my car doesn't roll back even on steep slopes without the brake hold function. Maybe U might wanna check with your SE?

And I don't think U can change AC settings without deactivating auto start stop

Back to the yellow light story.. just brought a pre owned 2014 unit. Don't really wana spend so much to convert it to LED. Any one had any luck changing the yellow headlight to whiter one.. please advice...

Philips diamond vision is pretty white. Got mine from Tmall 1 to 2 years back. Still running strong. Only available for low beam H7 though. Still trying to find a set for H15 high beam though.
