CLA Coolant Expansion Tank Leakage

Hello guys,

I'm having a coolant expansion tank leakage. Suspect that its due to the engine too hot, the heat from the bolt nut is melting the underneath of the coolant expansion tank.

1) Does anyone have such issues with your CLA?

2) As my car is still under warranty, I sent it for repair. The service officer told me that it has been replaced. But however, after i quick check, it seems like a patch work. However, the service officer insisted that it is a replacement. For new CLA owners, does your coolant reservoir tank has the white patch thing sticking out?

I agree it is good to see the damaged part, at least we know thing are replaced as promised. The feeling I always get from the customer service officer is they tends to quickly finish off the paper work and not so willing to explain thing in details, especially when u ask them technical stuff. I am not trying to be difficult or find fault but just wanted to find out the root cause. We only visit service centre 1 or twice a year, so it is normal to ask questions. I would grade them below average for "customer focus"

Wah..... Indeed it looks like a patch work!!! Shame on CnC, I would have thought warranty work like this standard would have come from Parallel importers workshop! For CnC workshop to have done this, it defeats the purpose of buyers paying more from an Authorised Agent. Really shame on them!
